ABOUT

Hannah is a contemporary dance artist and teacher based in London. Since graduating with an MA in Dance Performance from Trinity Laban in 2013 Hannah has performed extensively working with choreographers Nina Kov, Mari Frogner, Masha Gurina and Laura Verbeek. She has also been a company member of nutshell Dance Company, SKADooSH Dance and most recently Daisy Farris Dance Collective. Hannah has worked with a number of visual artists, filmmakers and designers on projects with London Contemporary Orchestra, London College of Art, YAMAHA and Rocca Gallery London.   

 

Alongside her performance work Hannah also has experience in choreography and rehearsal direction, recently presenting work as part of Resolution! Festival at The Place, London. She has choreographed work for the Trinity Laban Adult Performance Project and 'Lift' youth group with pieces performed at the Horniman Museum. She has also worked creatively on a number of short films including Michaël Boucherie's 'One Shot' and How They Never Met Themselves, which she choreographed for Ron Arad's Curtain Call at the Roundhouse, London.

Hannah teaches dance across a range of professional and educational settings, currently delivering contemporary technique and creative practice to students at Trinity Laban and English National Ballet School. Hannah also works extensively across Trinity Laban's Learning and Participation programmes including the Trinity Laban Centre for Advanced Training, Adult Programmes and the Dance Summer School. Over the last 4 years Hannah has also delivered educational outreach workshops in local schools and to international schools who visit the Conservatoire. As company member for Transitions Dance Company, nutshell Dance Company, Daisy Farris Dance Collective and SKADooSH Dance Hannah has taught company class and outreach workshops as part of their touring programmes. She also teaches company class for Springs Dance Company and Transitions Dance Company.
